How often should you have a massage?
You can have a massage as often as you want, we recommend listening to your body. Many of our clients visit us once a week for a massage, this helps to manage any muscular tension, and also day-to-day stresses.
Massage at Shumaila’s is for the sole purpose of relaxation and to relieve muscular tension. We do not treat any medical conditions.

What is included in a full body massage?
At Shumaila’s in a 60 min full body massage treatment we work on the following areas:
- Back, Neck & Shoulders
- Legs
- Feet
- Arms
- Décolletage & Scalp
We also offer shorter massages of 30 min and 45 min, in which we focus on 1 or 2 body areas of your choice from the list above.

Massage at Shumaila’s is for the sole purpose of relaxation and to relieve muscular tension. We do not treat any medical conditions.
We are not able to offer you a massage if any of the following conditions apply:
- Osteoporosis
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic Fatigue
- Chronic Back/Neck Pain
- Blood clots / Phlebitis
- Cancer or History of Cancer
- Surgeries within the past 12 months
- Any Contagious Diseases /Illness
- Scoliosis
- Cardiac or Circulatory Problems
- Major Injuries within the past 12 months
If you currently have or have had cancer in the past, we will require a doctor’s note from your physician before we are able to offer a massage.
Yes, you can have a massage during pregnancy. Not all of our therapists offer this service, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can book you with the right person.
