Types of HydraFacial

Pigmentation treatments are suitable for all skin types. However, we offer a complimentary consultation to check any form of individual contraindications. A complete assessment will be done before treatment and during the procedure.

It does this by combining six of the most effective proven different approaches,
which could all exist as a stand-alone medical facial, into one treatment process.

Lymphatic Drainage

We use vacuum suction to help detox the skin via lymphatic drainage. This helps reduce face puffiness and prepare the skin for the rest of the facial.

Deep Cleansing & Exfoliation

Hydra-dermabrasion is then used to deeply cleanse and exfoliate the skin. It helps deep cleanse and bring fresh nutrients to the skin for a healthy glow.

LED Light Therapy

We include LED Light Therapy in all of our hydra facial treatments. The benefits are numerous, from skin rejuvenation to calming acne.

Chemical Peel

We apply a cocktail of Glycolic and Salicylic acids to help dissolve dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin, revealing a fresh complexion from underneath.

Huma was my therapist last Thursday for. Hydra facial. She was really gentle and gave me a really nice relaxing facial. My face looked pretty clean in the mirror but when I got home I realised there were still a lot of blackheads on my nose (the only reason why i gave 4 stars). After a HydraFacial treatment, here are a few tips for aftercare.

Avoid hot environments and heat (saunas, sun beds, intense workouts, hot yoga) for the next 48 hours.
Avoid swimming pools for the next 48 hours.
Application of SPF30 (minimum) is essential (but remember, this is ALWAYS essential!)
Avoid having any aggressive treatments on the HydraFacial treatment area for 2 weeks.
Avoid using retinol products for 2 days after the treatment.

Maintain your skin health by following the below recommendations.

Drink plenty of water
Eat a balanced diet
Take a daily vitamin supplement
Exercise regularly
Get plenty of sleep
Avoid smoking
Avoid tanning beds
Minimize alcohol consumption
Manage daily stress

We recommend having a HydraFacial once a month to maintain healthy and clear skin.

If treating a skin condition such as acne, we recommend having it every 2 weeks, until the skin has cleared.

No, HydraFacial is not a painful treatment and it does not hurt. Some stages in which the skin is deeply cleansed and exfoliated might be slightly uncomfortable, but should not be painful.

You need to wait 2 weeks after having fillers or any cosmetic injections, before having HydraFacial done.

Be aware that, on rare occasions, after the HydraFacial treatment your skin may experience the following.

Heat sensation
Itching
Flaking
Lumps and bumps
Redness
Swelling

Although these are rare, they can still happen however all of them are manageable and NOT permanent.

Yes, HydraFacial has different boosters to treat different skin concerns. We can treat acne with HydraFacial PLUS, and recommend having a treatment every 2 weeks until your acne has cleared. Your therapist at Shumaila’s will increase the strength of your treatment every 2 weeks to achieve clear skin.
