First 48 Hours: Keep the protective dressing completely dry. You may experience mild soreness once the local anaesthetic wears off, which can be managed with standard paracetamol.
Showering: You may shower after 48 hours, but avoid soaking the wound. Gently pat the area dry with a clean towel; do not rub the incision site.
Physical Activity: Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, and activities that stretch the skin around the incision for about two weeks to prevent the wound from opening.
Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that does not rub or chafe against the healing incision. Avoid tight waistbands or straps directly over the area.
